I'm a fine art fantasy photographer based in Columbus, Ohio. I create immersive portrait experiences for women who have always dreamed of stepping into a fantasy world.

Since I was young I have always loved fantasy. I always dreamed of transforming into different animals to the point I even pretended to be a dog, cat, fox, wolf, you name it. As I got older, my love of fantasy—and my desire to escape the mundane only grew. I fell in love with Series like The Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros, The Hallows series by Kim Harrison, Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs and many more. As time went on I found a great group of friend that introduced me to D&D. D&D nights became an outlet for me to escape the real world and travel to a fantasy one.

 In September of 2025 I suddenly lost my mom. The woman that introduced me to fantasy and always told me to follow my dreams. I was devastated and spent the next year trying to decide what I wanted to do in life. The woman who I had always looked up to and supported my dreams was gone. I hit a new all time low I couldn't pick up my camera or read a book without thinking of her. I continued on with my everyday life the best I could, day in and day out, constantly thinking about her and what she would want for me. She was always my biggest supporter telling me I could achieve anything if I put my mind to it.

 I know what it is like to want to escape your everyday life, now more than ever. Even if just for a day… After much thought I realized I could give other women the encouragement they need to take a moment to step away from their everyday lives and step into the fantasy world they have always dreamed of. Just as my mom had done for me. So I picked up my camera again. And this time, I wasn't just chasing my own dreams. I wanted to help other women chase theirs, too.

We spend so much of our lives doing the same routine day in and day out that we forget to stop and take care of ourselves. Over time, we can forget what it's like to simply have fun, to do something that makes us feel good about ourselves.

We forget about the woman we were before the everyday stress took over. The woman who felt sexy, confident, playful, and excited about life. We forget about the dreams we had when we were little and the worlds we imagined ourselves living in.

That is why I have created this experience. I want to give women the opportunity to step away from the everyday, have a little fun, and see themselves in a completely different way. To transform into the woman or fantasy being she's always dreamed of becoming.

At Captures by Ki, I believe each photo session is more than just taking a few pretty pictures and going home. It's about creating an entire experience around you and your fantasy.
